A little about me. For more than 20 years, I have been a professional pilot and contributing to the aviation industry. I am also a marketing volunteer for Orbis International, a non-profit organization that is close to my heart. In 2007, a plane crash took the life of my close friend and mentor. Through this, and the loss of my grandparents, I saw firsthand the overwhelming burden, confusion and paralysis felt when figuring out what to do with one’s lifetime of possessions. During that time, I instinctively took the reins and stepped in to help find solutions to this sudden and unexpected problem.
Through this experience, I realized there was no focal point or one resource available to assist with this type of overwhelming burden, dealing with a home and all its many contents. For some people, this may even include vehicles and even pets. I began to research reputable companies who provide estate sales, organizing, content removal, home repairs and top-rated realtors. I discovered some amazing charitable organizations that will take household items, organizations that foster and find homes for the pets left behind when a loved one passes, even charitable groups that will accept and revamp old vehicles for veterans.
